I just got these chimes from Amazon today and wanted to see how they sounded. I used two condenser mics for the normal chime sound and also blended that with a dynamic mic going into a Moog Spectravox to do some processing on the chimes.
This one kind of reminded me of my previous song, “Snooze Button,” so I named it “Lose Button.” I guess if you snooze, you lose. It is also similar to about every horror movie theme you ever heard
