This is a demo of a home-built phase shifter & envelope follower project that I built back in the mid 80s. The projects were from Craig Anderton’s book, “Electronic Projects for Musicians.”
These are excerpts from my playlists on SoundCloud. Most are my original compositions – all songs feature me playing guitar and / or bass.
This is a psychedelic song I wrote in 2013. The last mix I made was a little weak on volume, so I thought I’d take another stab at it. This song features a Gibson Gary Moore signature Les Paul on two rhythm tracks, an EBow track, and a backwards delay track. The lead guitar was actually my Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster. The amp was a Fender Mustang III. If memory servers me correctly, everything was recorded via the amp’s USB connection.
