Martin DC Aura – unplugged this time. I used a pair of Behringer condenser mics more or less pointed at the sound hole. The lead track has some reverse delay added using an EHX Oceans 12 reverb pedal in an ad hoc effects loop on the TASCAM Model 12 mixer. Both tracks also had some Hall2 reverb supplied by the mixer.
Tachyons and Chronitons

An experimental composition using a Behringer Poly D and its sequencer to create a sonic pattern as well as drive a Minimoog via midi.
Hobman’s Delight

This song has a #Minimoog bass track and two #GibsonLesPaul tracks for rhythm and lead. One has a wah and one has a Vibratone effect (Fender’s version of a Leslie). Both effects were provided by a Fender Mustang III modeling amplifier.

American Outside Woman Impromptu

The title of this song comes from the fact that I used a tone on my Les Paul that was reminiscent of something between “American Woman” and “Outside Woman Blues.” Impromptu was added because, well, it isn’t a blues song and the leads were pretty much ad-lib.
Strats and Vibes

A “feel good” instrumental with a driving bass line and several layers of Stratocaster, including a simulated vibraphone track. What’s not to like?

I literally dusted off my old Fender Acoustasonic SFX amplifier and put one mic on the front speakers and one on the side-firing speaker that’s mounted in the bottom of the cabinet.
