An avant-garde track with spaced-out sounds from a Minimoog along with a simulated flute created with a Moog Mavis and an Electro-Harmonix Oceans 12 pedal with my “cello hack” setting. A Behringer Poly D analog synth created the “wind” effect.
Another classical snippet with the Moog Mavis / NiftyKEYZ acting as a cello and a flute with the help of an Electro-Harmonix Oceans 12 dual stereo reverb pedal and my “cello hack” setting.
This one uses a Minimoog (via midi) for a Vibraphone sound and a Moog Mavis for the cello and French horn sounds.

This song features the Minimoog on synth bass and lead. A Moog Mavis was used to create the cello-like strings using my “cello hack” setting on the Electro-Harmonix Oceans 12 reverb pedal. A BeatBuddy was used for the drum track.

I felt like this song was missing a few things…mostly bass and percussion. This version fixes that with the addition of a Rickenbacker bass track, an egg shaker, a rattle and some brass chimes.
Since I have been messing around with a flute sound with my Moog Mavis & Electro-Harmonix Oceans 12 pedal, I thought I’d take a stab at one of the most famous flute solos in classic rock – Chicago’s “Colour My World.” It’s a close approximation, anyway. I learned it by ear while listening to the track.
