Here are two more instruments I can add to my sonic palette! Ironically, they both use the same “cello hack” setting I came up with on the Electro-Harmonix Oceans 12 pedal. The only differences are some knob tweaks on the Moog Mavis module, plus where the notes are played on the NiftyKEYZ keyboard.
Colour My World “flute” solo
Since I have been messing around with a flute sound with my Moog Mavis & Electro-Harmonix Oceans 12 pedal, I thought I’d take a stab at one of the most famous flute solos in classic rock – Chicago’s “Colour My World.” It’s a close approximation, anyway. I learned it by ear while listening to the track.
