This song started as yet another song idea I had from several years ago. I had recorded some guitar chords into my Digitech Trio+pedal and had it create backing drums and bass. It finally got used with the Moog Mavis. This version has my Rickenbacker bass track instead of the Digitech’s bass track.

Angels We Have Heard On High

After playing around with my latest song idea (The Ballad of DADGAD), I started working on adding some kind of melody to it. While experimenting, I noticed several songs kind of worked with the chord progressions I was playing. This old public domain Christmas song was one of the better ones. It kinda sorta works. The Strat and the Rickenbacker bass were in Drop D tuning. The Martin was in DADGAD tuning.
