A Les Paul duet of sorts. One Les Paul utilizes an EBow while the other uses a standard pick. It was a song idea I had more than a year ago. I ran across the demo recording and decided to see if I could do more with it.

Angels We Have Heard On High
After playing around with my latest song idea (The Ballad of DADGAD), I started working on adding some kind of melody to it. While experimenting, I noticed several songs kind of worked with the chord progressions I was playing. This old public domain Christmas song was one of the better ones. It kinda sorta works. The Strat and the Rickenbacker bass were in Drop D tuning. The Martin was in DADGAD tuning.
The Ballad of DADGAD
This song is based on an acoustic demo I recorded in 2017 called, “Extra Light.” That video got a good number of views (for one of my songs), so I figured there might be something to it. I had to re-learn it, of course, since I had totally forgotten what weird DADGAD chords I came up with for it. I added a BeatBuddy drum track to this version and came up with a bass part, as well.
