From my 2013 CD, “Surfing Cowboys,” now only available as digital downloads on my ReverbNation profile.  Still one of my favorite songs.  It’s a Surf Rock instrumental with bluesy overtones as a Strat and a Les Paul alternately trade licks.  Give it a listen!

This song features my Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster on rhythm and lead. It was recorded direct using the effects output of my Fender Mustang III amp, plugged into a 1/4″ input on a TASCAM DP-006 Pocketstudio. For a bass track, I used the TASCAM’s internal mics to record my Rickenbacker model 4003 as I played it through a Fender Rumble 75 amp. Post processing and mixing was done using Adobe Audition 3.0.
